The first is the production of guide rail, which is a series of procedures completed before the raw steel enters the plant. The guide rail produced by the guide rail factory shall be rough ground (dovetail groove grinding), with the allowance controlled at about 40-50 threads, then straightened, and then rough ground and straightened on the upper surface. Then, the semi-finished product with the allowance of 2 threads shall be straightened after the dovetail groove and the upper surface reach the standard error value, and then the digital control gantry milling and drilling (some manufacturers also use the numerical control drilling machine for reconstruction). After the above steps are completed, inspection is required, mainly including surface finish inspection, dimensional tolerance inspection, straightness inspection, dovetail groove hardness inspection, up and down runout inspection and lateral swing inspection matched with the slider. After the inspection, the production of the guide rail is completed.
Secondly, the production of slider. Also, it is mainly pulled out by the steel factory. The basic wool is about 6 meters of slider material. First, the wool is sheared (cutting machine), and then the surface is cut on the CNC milling machine to remove the surplus. The general tolerance is about 10 lines. The products imported from abroad will be finished in the middle, and the delicate knife mold in the middle of the slider will be grinded.
Then there is the milling machine, and the abrasive is used to replace the milling cutter grinding channel (some foreign factories will carry out better ball raceway grinding machines). After this step is completed, the processes of different factories will be different. Some are surface shot peening, some are direct heat treatment, and some are directly sprayed with a layer of black paint. After heat treatment, grind the upper surface according to the tolerance between the raceway and the upper surface (basically controlled within the specified value), and there will be a grinding reference surface in the left and right lateral directions.
Again, drill holes. Some manufacturers drill holes before heat treatment to save process. Testing is also required during drilling, mainly to test the diameter of the raceway. For example, if the hole is larger than the standard hole by 7. Please note that the hole under the slider is 7 or smaller, i.e. - 7. When the product arrives at the assembly workshop, the worker manually casts the steel ball. The size of the steel ball is also selected according to the tolerance, so the size of the steel ball of each slider will be different. Plastic circulator (end cover), scraper, inner cage, outer cage and nozzle will be used for assembly. And then conduct sampling inspection on the sliding block to match with the guide rail, and detect the lateral swing and radial runout. If they pass the inspection, they can leave the factory without problems.
